Day #6 | Solving a User Experience Problem with a Chrome Extension

As I was building my chrome extension, I faced a common user experience problem: when viewing emails in the main window of Gmail, the snippet of the beginning of the message is sometimes not enough for people to determine whether or not they want to reply.

But thanks to a friend in Tel Aviv (thanks elad notti), I found a solution. We added a small button next to the reply message that, when clicked, opens a model that provides suggestions. This feature has already proven to be a huge help for our users.

I’m grateful to have such a talented friend who was able to help me solve this problem and improve the user experience of my extension. It’s always rewarding to see the impact of our work and how it benefits others.

Overall, the journey of building a chrome extension has been a rewarding and enlightening experience. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this project.
